Here we have a preview video of the upcoming Icecrown citadel dungeons coming soon in patch 3.3 for Blizzard’s World of Warcraft. It seems that Blizzard is taking a cue from the likes of BioWare and bringing more story into the game, something that can only improve WoW and prolong its already crushing dominance on the MMO market in my opinion. I haven’t played WoW regularly in months, and watching this video got me pumped up for the new patch.  And its not even an official video.

The video below is player made by a member of the guild <Vodka>, a top raiding guild on the Alterac Mountains server.  The preview is from footage taken on the public test realm from an Alliance character’s point of view (the Horde travel with Sylvanas) and shows off some serious video production skills. Warning, it contains spoilers, so if you want to be surprised when this goes live then maybe you should pass.

However, many of the people in WoW’s player base are feeling sort of stagnant (including ITG’s resident WoW players) while they’ve been waiting for new content so something like this could get your juices flowing again. I highly recommend watching this one:

If the creator of this video isn’t working in the video production field professionally already, some game development firm should look into hiring them.  Well done.
