Submit a Video
ITG is always on the lookout for great gaming videos. If you feel that you have put together a video that is worthwhile submit it with the form below. Before you submit, know that we are looking for the following:
- Narrated video (or well annotated)
No music blaring over some video clip where no one knows what the hell is going on. We want you as our guide to the video clip. We prefer voice narrated video, but if you annotate well and don’t put annoying music in your video we will take a look at it. If you prefer death metal, gangster rap, or any sort in-your-face style of music, do not submit it to us. Keep the music for something in the background. If you can’t speak, sound like a toad, or are just shy about speaking to the internet public you might want to try your hand at writing instead.
- Instructional and informative
Show off a game mechanic, design, strategy, tip, or something generally useful. How-to’s are great content for video, as well as exploratory tours of environments, character creation and other customizations, and quest shortcuts are good too. Beta footage (don’t break an NDA please) is good, as well as tours of new patch content, etc.
- YouTube video only
Why only YouTube? Because YouTube supports mobile phones, specifically the iPhone. When other video players figure out a way to support mobile devices, we’ll accept them too.
- Regular contributors
If you’d like to be a contributing author to the site, we’d like to talk with you. ITG offers a revenue sharing program for those people with Google Adsense accounts, where the traffic generated from posts that you author is yours to keep.
