What’s Up With This Site?
ITG is a blog and community site dedicated to creating useful content about games, the companies that make them, and the gamers that play them. With a focus on PC/Mac gaming, ITG creates written and video content useful to gamers of all ages and experience levels. Informative game play video, guides, comics, news, and more opinions than you can shake a stick at are all things you’ll find by the gamers that are talkin’ games here.

ITG is independently owned and operated and has no affiliation with any game development company or publisher. All game content shown or discussed on this site are the sole property of the developer/publisher that owns them. ITG was founded in October of 2009 by an avid gamer/blogger/technology enthusiast as a creative outlet, a place to discuss games, and a place to foster community.

Who In The Hell Writes This Crap?
Glad you asked.  Below you’ll find out all the info you could possibly want to know about the gamers and authors on ITG.  Autographed pictures cost 9.99 USD:

Name: Brent Breaux
Occupation: Analyst, Blogger, Gamer
Known Aliases: br3ntbr0, v00d00de, rajuncajun, stimulus package
Known hangouts: steam, xfire, bsn, gamerdna

Bio: He is to blame for this site, as well as the home of “TLDR”, A Wall of Text.  Best known for his YouTube slumming, overly dramatic blog posts, analyzing games to death, and terribad mouse clicking habit in games.  He is known to write crappy code, and seeks to find technology to help him obtain the ever elusive “l33t” status.

thegrouch Name: Paul Meyer

Known hangouts: Triple-A  MMO’s.  Currently WoW, but soon SWToR and Copernicus.  Also Sushi bars.

Bio:
I’ve been gaming forever, but started MMO’s with Everquest in 2000.  I’m opinionated and occasionally grouchy.  I tend to write commentary about gaming business and gaming community.  I currently run several sites including Vanguard Crafters (Yeah, I know,) The Grouchy Gamer, and the guild site for the Casualties of War guild.  I probably won’t do videos here, but expect opinion pieces from me.
Oakstout Name: Paul Zelano
Occupation: Video/Computer Technician, Gamer, Blogger, Dwarf (Mythical)
Known Aliases: Oakstout
Known hangouts: World of Warcraft, Xbox Live, PS3 Network, Twitter

Bio:
I’m an old gamer, not Methuselah old or an Ancient Gamer, those are other people entirely, I’m just old, remember Pong?  Well, that was my first console system.  My very first MMO was Meridian 59, then Everquest, Everquest 2 and finally World of Warcraft, where I spend way too much time, GO ALLIANCE. I eventually decided to start blogging, because I felt a need, no a desire, to unleash my inner crabby dwarf, not to be confused with the grumpy one and any possible copyright infringements and I’m only crabby because I didn’t get an Atari 2600 for Christmas, I got a ColecoVision instead, thanks parental units, sorry I digress. (Incidentally, that address is oakstout.blogspot.com.)  Anyway,(one of my favorite transitional words, which you’ll see a lot of in my writing) I like games and I like running my loud mouth, so I think this should be a great fit, kind of like a pair of pants, but not dress pants, more like casual, relax fit jeans or slacks, maybe Kakis I think.
jb Name: Bill Murphy
Occupation: Medical Admin, IT Tech, Blogger, Cartoonist
Known Aliases: Bildo, JoBildo, Jaybles, Dumb Furry Guy

Known hangouts: Steam, Twitter, Facebook, WoW (TFC & Malganis), my blog

Bio:
I am a 29 year old avid gamer, lover of life, words and the pursuit of epics!! I started playing console games at the ripe ole age of 5 or 6. I remember my dad coming home with our very state-of-art ATARI! LOL, it was that long ago. I have beaten a ton of console games and was a console gamer until the age of PC-gaming dawned on my world. Now I’m solely an MMO gamer with a PVP focus. I’m slowly venturing into PVE, and I just started my own blog at http://kaldeem.wordpress.com but will be solo posting game related content here. As far as my gaming future goes… games and more games. :D
my-photo-carlosuero Name: Charles King
Occupation: Freelance Web Designer/Programmer, Blogger, Gamer
Known Aliases: carlosjuero
Known hangouts: Lord of the Rings Online: Elendilmir server; Steam, XFire, GameSpot Forums (all under carlosjuero) Bio: I have been a gamer for ages – first PC games I played were ones I had to program myself in the BASIC programming language. First PC game I remember beating was Police Quest I: In Pursuit of the Death Angel followed by Commander Keen.I have been in the MMO universe off and on for years, but really got started in depth with City of Heroes back in 2005. Since then I have wet my feet in quite a few different MMO’s and am currently sticking with Lord of the Rings: Online as my main with Fallen Earth as a sub. My preference, though, are single player RPG’s and RTS’s.  I started blogging in 2004 or so, and have been into it off and on since. Lately I have been much more active in the blogging world, and enjoy putting my views out there.

He’s well enough versed in geek lore to know what current trend is hotter than T’Pol during Pon Farr and finds inspiration in everything geek to create his webcomics. Greg lives happily on the West Coast of Canada with his wife, son, and his cat named Elvis.
sypbio Name: Syp
Occupation:
Youth Pastor, Writer, Whipping Boy
Known Aliases: “Hey You!”
Known Hangouts: The 8th DimensionBio: Born of fire and ice, which was no picnic for his mother thankyouverymuch, Syp is a study of opposing aspects.  He isn’t funny, but he thinks he is.  He loves MMOs but cannot understand the appeal of organized sports.  He is technically a man, but has Powerpuff Girl pillowcases.  Syp’s main writing projects are at Bio Break (biobreak.wordpress.com) and Mutant Reviewers From Hell (mutantreviewers.wordpress.com).
