Play By Play Video: Dragon Age Origins Final Fight (Epic Win)

A few weeks ago I completed my first run through BioWare’s Dragon Age: Origins on normal mode.  With Allister, Wynne, Morrigan and my rogue Bushwick grouped up we battled through all the campaigns. After winning the support of the mages, elves, dwarves and humans we descended upon the final battle.  We made our way through ogres and darkspawn to reach the top of the fort tower in Denerim to come face to face with the arch demon.  Everything was stacked against us, including the fact that I was out of lyrium potions for mage mana.  Obstacles be damned, we pulled victory from the jaws of defeat.

Two mages is key for this fight, and for that matter pretty much every encounter in Dragon Age. Force field and dispel magic are clutch, as well as healing spells, obviously. Remember to check out my previous post about 5 things you should know before playing DAO.  This game pretty much guaranteed EA/BioWare another 60 bucks of my paycheck once Mass Effect 2 launches.
