Borderlands: Gameplay via LiveStream

I’m going to start with a disclaimer that I have no idea how this guy is playing Borderlands before it is released.  On Friday night I stumbled upon Eva X Vidya’s video stream.  I was on the Xfire site and clicked the LiveStream partner link and was taken to their site, where I clicked through a few streams and found a kid playing a game that looked familiar.  After a few minutes I realized that the he was playing (and was still playing as of Saturday morning when this was written).  I popped open my screen recording software and grabbed several minutes worth of footage, which I’ve posted below (and may have to remove, if this was a pirated version of the game) so check it out while you can.

The audio was terrible since this is a recording of a video stream, so I’ll give you some play by play of things I noticed while watching the clip. Update: I did some research, and the character he was playing is Lillith, not Eva.  Apparently Eva is his name and that is what is shown in the character UI windows.  The “Stealth” ability I mentioned is called “Phasewalk” and its shown along with the full skill tree on the Borderlands site. Update: The stream is still going as of 12:30 Saturday afternoon (he’s been playing for 17 hours straight), perhaps he obtained the game legitimately? If you are interested in Borderlands go check it out.
